Collateral

Collateral secures every position on CRX. The margin engine locks collateral from a participant's pre-funded margin account as positions open. CRX enables participants to post yield-bearing assets as collateral.

Supported collateral

CRX accepts four collateral assets to start: USDC, USDT, AUSD, and USTRY.

Non-custodial margin account

The margin account is non-custodial: collateral lives in a smart contract, inaccessible to CRX.

Whitelisted wallet: deposits and withdrawals are restricted to a single wallet designated at onboarding. No other address, including CRX, can access the balance.
Never rehypothecated: collateral is never lent, pledged, or reused, and remains in the smart contract until withdrawn.
Verifiable on-chain: every deposit, withdrawal, and allocation is recorded on-chain, immutable and auditable.
